The Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal laid foundation stone for development works worth crores of rupees to be done by Municipal Corporation Gurugram on Thursday. Giving information in the above subject, Social Worker and Politician, Gurugram Sahab Ram Leelu Sarpanch said that the inauguration of the Rain Shelter built in the village Kadipur at a cost of 76 lakh rupees.
On Thursday, before the meeting of the District Grievances Committee in the independent Saini Zilla Parishad building located at the Chief Minister’s Local Civil Lies, the Municipal Corporation, Gurugram, made development works in Ward 35 at a cost of about 6 crores and in the village Jahajgarh at a cost of 20 crores lay the foundation stone for construction of 10 MLD sewerage treatment plant.
Through Municipal Corporation Gurugram the RMC road construction will occur from Neelkanth Chowk to Totaram Chowk in Ward-35, which will cost Rs 1.86 crore.
Apart from this, Rs.2.19 crore will be spent on road construction from Sector Road to Nathupur village and Rs.2.16 crore will be spent on the construction of drain from Neelkanth Chowk to Totaram Chowk.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated the Rain Shelter built by Hindustan Prefab Limited at a cost of Rs 76 lakh under National Urban Livelihood Mission in village Kadipur
This is a two-storeyed Rain shelter and has 5 doors, a kitchen, a first treatment room, and a watchman room. Each dormitory has 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets. There are separate toilets for disabled persons have been provided in the rain shelters also.
In the Rain shelters, there is an accommodation facility for 4 persons have been provided in which the availability of solar lights and power backup facility have been fully managed. Clean and new beds, and CCTVs have been provided in the Rain shelter, thus this Rain shelter is equipped with modern facilities. Apart from the Municipal Corporation, Bhim Nagar, Kanhaiye, Sheetla Temple, Rajiv Chowk, Sohna Chowk, Railway Station, IFFCO Chowk, and bus stand chowk, these Rain shelters are being operated.
Gurugram Mayor Madhu Azad, Senior Deputy Mayor Pramila Gajesingh Kabalana, Deputy Mayur Sunita Yadav, Sudhir Singla MLA of Gurugram, Patori MLA Satyaprakash Jarawata, Gulf Village Industries Board Chairperson Gargi Kakkar, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vinay Pratap Singh, Amit Khatri, additional Corporator Amardeep Jain, additional Municipal Commissioner YS Gupta, Chief Engineer ND Vashisht, Raman Sharma, Corporation Councilor, Brahmaprakash Yadav, former Sarpanch and Social Worker and Politician of village Nathupur, Gurugram, Sahab Ram (Leelu Ram) and many dignitaries and other officials were present in it.
